THE SHED LUXE

Callie, Sue and Deb grew up in Crowdy Head, approximately thirty minutes north of Taree. The three sisters maintain a close bond and have established The Shed Luxe, operated in Taree. This enterprise features beautiful homewares, gifts, fashion accessories and women's clothing.

"We've all really had an interest in fashion firstly and then we have kind of moved into the homewares side of things which is becoming a faster passion for all of us really". Their shared values in retail, design and quality inspired the business launch.

"We're surrounded by other fantastic businesses here as well and they all support us and we support them back. I think where we have the edge is our local people support us really strongly".

The Shed Luxe receives strong customer support across Australia. Deb explained: "we sell to Melbourne, we sell to Sydney, we sell to regional, Western Australia. Most of that selling for us is through social media". Location doesn't limit their reach since couriers deliver daily.

Deb and her husband Andy appeared on The Block television series in 2019, creating new opportunities. Deb shared that Block house items came from The Shed Luxe and they collaborated with HowsThatHouse, a Taree business: "my niece Tory and her partner Brad they have a business in Taree called HowsThatHouse and they make beautiful timber vanities and they made 2 for our Block house".

The family maintains strong connection to Biripi country. Andy and their children are proud Biripi people, which holds significant importance to The Shed Luxe family.

Taree functions as a regional design and quality hub with excellent access to quality retailers and creative makers producing beautiful products.

Callie, Sue and Deb love where they live and what they do. And they love Taree!
